A tourist visa can be used by UK citizens planning to enter Thailand for tourism and medical treatment purposes only.
A single entry tourist visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issue. You must enter Thailand within this validity period.
The maximum permitted stay is up to 60 days from the date of entry. Be sure to check this allowable limit so that you do not overstay your visa.
2. A multiple-entry tourist visa is valid for 6 months from the date of issuance and offers a maximum of 60 days of stay per visit during the validity period. Be sure to check the immigration stamp in your passport for the exact length of stay.
For a single-entry tourist visa, you need a passport with at least 6 months validity and at least 2 blank pages.
The application form is available online and you must fill it out completely with all required information. Download it, sign it, and have it printed out with a barcode.
Enclose proof of travel reservation, two passport-size photos, proof of accommodation in Thailand (hotel reservation, invitation letter from relatives or friends from Thailand) and financial confirmation.
For a multiple entry tourist visa, in addition to the above documents, you must also provide a letter from your British employer to the Royal Thai Embassy or self-assessment and a company registration document if you are self-employed.
Once all the above documents are ready, make an appointment at the embassy and apply. If you need assistance, we can arrange to prepare and submit your application.
